Kun Ceramics is a small independent ceramic studio shaped by a love of clay, landscape, and the quiet beauty of natural forms.
Each piece is made slowly by hand, using wheel-throwing, handbuilding and carving to explore texture, movement and form.
My work is often inspired by mountains, weathered rock, earth and the traces left by nature. Rather than seeking perfect repetition, I allow the character of the clay and the firing process to remain visible.
Organic, tactile and quietly individual, each piece carries its own landscape.

Bio
Kun Ki Chan is the ceramic artist and maker behind Kun Ceramics, based in British Columbia, Canada.
Her journey with clay grew from a lifelong interest in making, form and craftsmanship. Through wheel-throwing, handbuilding and carving, she has gradually developed a personal language rooted in organic form, texture and landscape.
Rather than pursuing uniformity, Kun approaches each piece as an individual work, allowing the clay, the marks of the hand and the firing process to become part of its character.
Her practice continues to evolve through experimentation — exploring the relationship between form, surface, glaze and fire.
