Carved Red Clay Sake Bottle

A handmade red clay sake bottle (tokkuri) with a carved, rustic finish.

The bottle has a rounded body and a gently flared neck. The lower section shows the natural reddish clay with carved diagonal lines and visible throwing marks. Dark brown and soft green-grey glazes cover the upper body, creating a strong contrast with the exposed clay. Small glaze drips and irregular transitions between the colours add variation to the surface.

The three cups are finished in warm reddish-brown tones. Each has a simple rounded shape with visible throwing lines and subtle variations in the glaze. Although made as a set, the cups are not completely identical, reflecting the individual handmade process.

Available as the full set, the bottle alone, or the three cups alone.
