Iron Red Mug

A warm, substantial handmade mug finished in a rich red glaze with a darker atmospheric band and soft cream at the rim. The layered glaze creates depth and natural variation, especially where the colours meet and move during firing. A rounded handle balances the generous body and makes the mug comfortable for everyday use. The simple silhouette allows the glaze to remain the main visual feature. Each mug is individually made and fired, so slight differences in colour, glaze flow, surface and form are expected and celebrated. A functional studio piece with a grounded, earthy presence for coffee, tea or other favourite drinks.
