Sage Yunomi

A hand-carved Sage Yunomi with a clean, rounded upper form and deeper carved movement rising from the base. The pale glaze softens the surface while allowing the carved marks to remain visible, creating a quiet contrast between smooth and textured areas. Its compact proportions are designed for a comfortable two-handed hold and make it well suited to tea or other small drinks. The carving is done individually rather than mechanically repeated, so every piece carries slightly different lines and movement. Natural variations in glaze, surface and firing are part of the work and give each cup its own distinct character.
