Yama Yunomi – Green Peak

A handthrown Yunomi with a soft celadon-green speckled glaze that flows down to meet a carved mountain ridge at the base, where bold knife cuts reveal the warm purple-toned clay beneath. A wash of brighter green near the rim catches the light as you drink. Underneath, a small flower is carved into the foot, hidden from view until the cup is lifted. A quiet, grounded cup for everyday tea. Each piece is made and finished individually, so small differences in carving, glaze and form are part of its handmade character.
